FSC is pleased to present the M.T.G.S. with touch panels: a turnkey training device designed for the students of colleges and flight schools.

Ideal for both VFR flights, thanks to the immersive vision of the cockpit, where the windscreen has been simulated at the right height for external references with the tip of the wings visible, and for IFR flights being equipped with all the radio navigation instruments, VOR, ADF, HSI, etc ...

The console is equipped with the two touch screens replicating accurately the avionics gauges, provides great versatility and customization to simulate different aircrafts, from single to multi-engine.

The simulator with a full metal structure is designed for extremely efficient and reliable operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with minimal maintenance.

In this version of M.T.G.S. the main avionics instrumentation is reproduced through two interactive touch screens, changing the instruments layout according to the type of aircraft selected.

The touch screens allow easy rotation of the OBS knobs of the VOR, HDG of the gyrocompass, barometric pressure in the altimeter, etc.

For ergonomic reasons the Audio panel, Autopilot, and all radios (COM, NAV, ADF, XPNDR) are physical and not simulated.

A wireless tablet, connected to the simulator, provides information and allows immediate access to multiple functions.

The main functions are: the change of aircraft, the choice of airports, the change of weather, date and time, the instantaneous positioning on the map, fuel level...

It is possible to activate failures to the various systems of the aircraft: electric, pneumatic, instrumentation, fuel, radio, the centre of gravity and imbalance...

The wireless tablet also allows you to easily activate situations of unpredictability on weather, failures and traffic

The M.T.G.S. allows flexibility and a more efficient training through the opportunity to adapt and change the TQ to emulate many different aircrafts, up to four engines.

It allows:

- Simple switching to different throttles with a quick release system.

- Over 20 types available.

All the different THROTTLEs are made by Precision Flight Controls Company.

The simulator has powerful servers optimized for flight simulation, suitable for 24/7 operation. 

Particular attention has also been paid to the ventilation system of the electronic equipment.

The optimized server/client configuration, and the client PC dedicated to the G1000 avionics grant a smooth flight and scenery flow.

In addition, “virtual private networks” have been created to allow remote access the simulator for maintenance and update purposes.

Thanks to these tools of Communication and Information Technology, FSC provides its customers with a long-term after-sales service, guaranteeing a quick maintenance assistance.

The main flight controls are built with sturdy and reliable materials and mechanisms, and also feature the Dynamic Control Loading technology, a system applying a variable resistance to flight controls, and when used with autopilot, automatically move the controls accordingly. 

Through precise and solid electric motors provides a realistic feedback of the force applied on the flight controls, which varies according to the air pressure exerted on the aircraft surfaces.

All vibrations are managed and simulated, both of the engine on the controls and of the contact with ground surface, with accurate reading of the lateral accelerations, which allow the pilot to “feel” which wheel (left or right) is touching or detaching from the ground.
